Christmas In Junk-Lie *ohy* Ornaments (Series #9)

100_3941.JPGClosing our Christmas In July series with the third of my "misc. ornaments" selection. I fit these all on my tree every year. I usually don't add a decoration each year, unless given to me. You're lovin' this aren't ya Paige? Too bad you'll have to wait until December to see further junk debris from my collection. So, blah blah blah. The Browns opened their training camp today. Blah blah blah. Ho hum.  I have most of my stuff around the house representing the Browns. I've been a die hard fan. Even when we suck, I watch. I guess football kinda hangs in my soul. Kinda like this Browns ornament. HeeeeYUK.

100_3940.JPGThey are MY Browns. They left Cleveland and were replaced by a lack lustre team and a boring new stadium. Really. The Gund Arena for our basketball team and Jacob's Field for our baseball team were so much better and they have improved with age. Sure they have done improvements at the football stadium, but it feels blah blah blah. Hmmm. Blah team. Blah stadium. Nice ornament though.

Here are the misfit toys. The leftovers. The ones that don't go on the tree or do and dont.  Yes, another name tag from another retail gig. I bought my first computer from an Office Max back when you bought computers at Office Max. (Does anybody buy computers at an office supply store any more?) I was looking for part time work, so I got the gig and worked a few weeks. However, I was a dolt, it was a 1/2 hour drive from where I lived. With gas and travel time, I may have earned $7 a part time shift. Needless to say it didn't work out. I could have asked to get transferred to a closer store...yeah, that would have helped...but I don't think there was a closer store which is why I got my first computer there. Did I mention that I got my first computer there?

Then there is the tiny snow globe that had my name on it. Mom gave this to me on year. It goes on the tree. Anything mom gives me either finds it's way onto my Christmas tree or it goes on "BOB". (Previous junk blog entry. Look it up if you care.)  The little grad-asterisk  was from one of those jobs, not sure which. I got it when I graduated to the selling floor. Once I understood that extended warranty=good or that Tappan Laundry=commission. (Couldn't sell that stuff no matter how much it paid. Always Maytag. Always Whirlpool.)

The mini santy was something pulled off something else as a bonus for Christmas. I don't know what. I don't keep track. Just another Claus. Then a retired ornament....

100_3929.JPGMr Fat Hanz (TM) LLC is showing this Santa with a broken trotter. I don't know if it fell from grace or just fell off in storage. I'm just too damn lazy to whip out the super dooper glooper and fixeth his footeth. He can't deliver presents with a busted off trotter can he?
